Stage IV Snapshot -- Tooth Fairy

What is life like with Stage IV breast cancer? This is the first of a series of snapshots of my life, my "new normal."

Yesterday, when my ten year old daughter's tooth fell out while we were out for lunch, I wrapped it in paper and put it in my pill box for safekeeping.

That's life with Stage IV breast cancer. It's about living.

  1. I've got pill baggies. Can you imagine randomly finding a tooth in your medication?! It'd be hilarious and strange. Except in your case, where it's rather sweet.

    1. It would be sweet, you're right! Now that we have a puppy, I'll be picking up her teeth soon. Plus, I'll be worrying about dropping any of my pills while she's around. ~Kate
